  • Personal Information: We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information (name, email, etc.) to use the tool.

Use of Gemini AI

Our application uses Google's Gemini AI to provide visualization recommendations. Here's how it works and what data is processed:

  • Default Mode: By default, we use our server-side Gemini API key to generate recommendations. In this mode, only metadata about your data (column names, data types, and statistical properties) is sent to Google's Gemini API. The actual values in your dataset are never transmitted.
  • Custom API Key: You have the option to use your own Gemini API key. If you choose this option, the same limited metadata is sent directly from your browser to Google's API using your key.
  • Data Privacy: In both cases, your full dataset remains in your browser and is never stored on our servers or permanently stored by Google. The API calls are used solely to generate visualization recommendations.
  • Google's Privacy Policy: The Gemini API is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing their policy for more information on how Google handles API data.

Information We Collect

We collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics to help us understand how users interact with our website. This information helps us improve the tool and provide a better user experience. The data collected includes:
